To help you to find the perfect fit in your Bird & Knoll garment, below is our body measurement chart in cm and inches.
if you are unsure of your size here is how we recommend you take your measurements to determine.
LENGTH: measured from either the hsp (high shoulder point) or apex. hsp is at the top of your shoulder, the point between your shoulder head and where your neck starts. apex is measured starting from the highest point of the garment. some garments have adjustable straps so length is only an indication as can vary depending on how you personalise the fit by adjusting straps.
CHEST: measure around the fullest part of your bust - usually across the nipple and around your back.
UNDERBUST: measure around the ribcage, directly under the bust and keep the tape level. pull the measuring tape snug but not tight.
WAIST: measure around your natural waist, keeping the tape a bit loose - bend to one side to find your natural crease.
HIP: measure around the fullest part of your buttocks, standing with your feet together.
a few other terms that may help in selecting the perfect size:
RELAXED: referring to an elasticated measurement taken when the elastic is relaxed & not using any of the stretch.
SHOULDER SEAM TO SEAM: the measurement taken from the shoulder point to shoulder point across the back.
SLEEVE LENGTH: measured from the centre shoulder point to the sleeve cuff.
